Between November 3 and 11, 2019, in the Opera at the Castle there took place the Moniuszko Inspiration! Festival on the occasion of the 200th anniversary of birth of one of the most distinguished Polish composers, Stanisław Moniuszko. An international group of artists, during 7 festival events interpreted Moniuszko's music in many very different styles. From folk music, through ballet and opera to jazz. There was the enthusiasm of amateur performers, talents of rising stars of opera stages and also world class artists. Apart from artistic events there were also organised discussion panels.

The Moniuszko Inspiration! Festival included the following events:
Nov 3, 2019 –  "The evening with Polish ballets"
Nov 5, 2019 – Cantata "Spectres" of S. Moniuszko based on "Dziady" of A. Mickiewicz
Nov 6, 2019 –  "The jazz Brigade meet Moniuszko"
Nov 7, 2019 –  Religious pieces of Stanisław Moniuszko for soloists, choir and organs
Nov 8, 2019 –  "Verbum nobile – the noble parole"
Nov 9, 2019 – The recital of Aleksandra Kurzak and Marek Ruszczyński
Nov 10, 2019 –  International Opera Gala "Moniuszko –  inspiration"
